Michael J. Umano

President

Michael J. Umano’s leadership and industry experience enables Industrial to maximize its full potential of opportunities and growth across all business lines. Mr. Umano joined Industrial Communications in 1991 as Corporate Controller, bringing extensive and diversified financial and business management experience. Mr. Umano holds a BS degree in Accounting from Stonehill College. Prior to his career at Industrial, he was employed as Controller for ten years with Apparel Retail Corporation, a national chain of women’s clothing stores. At ARC he oversaw financial and operational activities including implementation of automated systems, accounting, corporate banking, and legal matters. Mr. Umano was promoted to the position of Vice President, Controller, in October 1997, and to Executive Vice President in February 2007, where his responsibilities included the overall management of the company. In March 2011, Mr. Umano was promoted to President. With his proven executive management record, Mr. Umano is extremely adept at overseeing all of Industrial’s lines of business and has been instrumental in raising bank capital for the company’s growth and the expansion of Industrial’s tower portfolio, tower construction and electrical contracting services, and Motorola sales and SMR businesses. He has developed and implemented the corporate strategies, policies, procedures, and systems necessary to ensure business stability, infrastructure, and continued growth. Mr. Umano is a member of the Marshfield Business Council, South Shore Chamber of Commerce, and is a Notary Public. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Associated Industries of Massachusetts (“AIM”) and is a member of AIM’s CEO Connection. He has also served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer of a local non-profit organization.

Thomas L. Lennon Jr.

Vice President Antenna Site Leasing

Tom Lennon is a hands-on leader who focuses on perfecting each lease transaction for optimal quality and efficiency. Over the span of his 30-year career at Industrial, he has earned the trust of major cellular providers and maintained strong client relationships that generate great lease agreements. Mr. Lennon joined Industrial Communications in 1992 as an Account Executive within the sales organization where he was responsible for some of the largest 800MHz Trunked Radio sales in the company’s history. In 1998 Mr. Lennon was promoted to Manager of the Antenna Site Leasing department and in February 2007 was promoted to Vice President of Antenna Site Leasing within the newly organized division, Industrial Tower and Wireless, LLC. Mr. Lennon has been instrumental in providing consistent growth in both the revenue and the expansion of the antenna site business. Mr. Lennon holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Prior to joining Industrial, he had a successful career with Motorola Solutions holding various sales positions throughout the New England area. Mr. Lennon is a founding Board of Director member of the New England Wireless Association.

Kevin Delaney

Vice President of Site Acquisition & Development

Kevin Delaney is a well-respected and innovative leader in our Industrial Tower and Wireless business division. He excels in the competitive landscape of communications real estate and is highly skilled at negotiating lease contracts, zoning telecommunication sites and serving as a bridge for the community. Mr. Delaney started his career with Industrial in 1993. He has maintained the coverage design and development of Industrial’s 900MHz SMR two-way radio network using Propagation Software developed by EDX Engineering. Mr. Delaney handles all FCC and FAA regulatory affairs for the company and is also responsible for spectrum management and frequency coordination of all Industrial Communications’ frequencies. In 2023 Mr. Delaney was promoted to Vice President of Site Acquisition and Development, overseeing all the necessary policies and procedures for acquiring and permitting real estate to expand our tower site portfolio. Mr. Delaney brings a sharp knowledge of local real estate markets and a deep understanding of the cell tower business to the Industrial team and has played a key role in the expansion and success of our tower site portfolio.

Tony Germanetto

Tower Leasing Representative

Tony Germanetto is a well-respected and innovative leader at Industrial, with an extensive background in the communications industry that spans decades. Mr. Germanetto began his career in the development of wireless telecommunications networks with the NLS Group in 1995, where he worked with major cellular carriers to develop sites in New England, New York, New Jersey and Illinois. He quickly earned a promotion to Project Team Leader and subsequently to Project Manager overseeing a pre-launch 200(+) site network development project for Sprint in eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He later worked with SBA Network Services as a Field Operations Manager responsible for the company’s real estate and construction services projects in the Northeast portion of the United States; an area covering Maine, Virginia, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the greater Washington D.C. area. In 1998, he was a founding partner in Atlantic Western Consulting, a company which provided radio frequency engineering, real estate, and construction services in support of wireless network deployments. As Vice President of Operations, he helped the company grow to over 100 employees with projects and field offices across the U.S. In 2005, Mr. Germanetto joined Industrial Communications as a Tower Leasing Representative with the responsibility of managing multiple accounts. He regularly taps his experience and contacts to assist in all aspects and divisions of Industrial. Mr. Germanetto complements his deep understanding of the cell tower business with communication, dedication, and transparency. He is a founding Board of Director member of the New England Wireless Association and served as Vice President.

Jeff Noseworthy

Tower Leasing & Business Development Manager

Jeff Noseworthy spearheads our Mid-West and West Coast business sales and site leasing operations from our satellite office in Colorado. He combines his 16 years of wireless industry experience with his acumen for managing large projects for our major carrier clients. Mr. Noseworthy graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Colorado Wireless Association.

Lee Clement

Construction Coordinator

As a Construction Coordinator for Tower Site Leasing at ITW, Lee manages wireless construction and maintenance projects throughout the Midwest. He brings over 15 years of experience in the fields of industrial, wind-turbine, and wireless construction and maintenance. Lee has a gift for building strong client relationships and helping carriers navigate the tower leasing market. He’s an expert at finding creative solutions to meet their specific communications infrastructure needs. Lee is also a licensed drone pilot.

Kevin Fadden

Site Acquisition Specialist

Kevin serves as a Site Acquisition Specialist at ITW, LLC, where he concentrates on developing ITW’s tower site footprint in the Massachusetts region. With over 40 years of experience with public and private development companies, Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge to his Site Acquisition Specialist role at ITW. He takes clients from the initial review to final approval and build-out and assists with all licensing and permitting processes in-between. Mr. Fadden has completed development projects in six different states, including skilled nursing and Alzheimer’s facilities, medical and corporate office centers, senior housing, and regional shopping power centers. During his tenure at ITW, Kevin has successfully permitted twenty-five communication tower sites for ITW.

Eric Kallio

Site Acquisition Specialist

Eric brings over 25 years of telecommunications project management experience to his role at ITW, where he specializes in expanding ITW’s communication infrastructure in Vermont. He has an excellent history of leading site teams to perform site acquisition work, and he is highly experienced in leasing and permitting with collocation and build-to-suit wireless for carriers and tower companies. Reliable and hard-working, Mr. Kallio specializes in site development, landlord lease negotiation, zoning hearings, and building permitting. He consistently reports to clients with metrics and solutions for optimal speed-to-market and on-air launch of sites. Eric received a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Media from Fitchburg State College in 1999, as well as a Master of Science in Communications/Media Management from Fitchburg State University in 2005. During his time away from the telecommunications industry, Mr. Kallio serves as the producer and on-air host of the “Rise and Shine Show,” WOOL-FM 91.5 Black Sheep Radio, Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Jonathan McNeal

Site Acquisition & Project Manager

Jonathan is a 20-year veteran of the telecommunications industry and has worked on projects in New England for all the major carriers. He has leased and permitted hundreds of wireless communications facilities in New England. Jonathan is a Massachusetts licensed attorney and has a master’s degree in the Study of Law with a concentration in Environmental Law and Policy. His specialty is working with industrial site acquisition and landowners to provide maximum coverage for wireless providers while preserving the aesthetics of a property for the owner and surrounding community.

Rick Voci

Surveyor/Project Manager

Rick plays a critical role in the tower site development process, conducting physical surveys of prospective cell tower sites. Mr. Voci prepares sketches and notes of all land acquisitions and performs electronic data collection. Additionally, Rick coordinates field staff and processes field data for current and prospective tower locations. He is the company interface with civil engineers, landscape architects, cartographers, and urban planners. Rick calculates areas of land parcels and easements using mathematics and computer software and prepares site surveying documents for client presentation.
